Actual schedules may differ due to holidays, weekends, processing days, remittance methods, variable or revenue-based payments, missed or adjusted payments, prepayment provisions and other provider practices.

A factor rate is a multiplier applied to a financing amount to determine the total amount to be repaid. It is not an interest rate and it is not an APR, and it cannot be compared directly to either.

A factor rate does not by itself reflect the speed of repayment, the payment frequency or any fees, all of which affect the true cost of financing over time.

Where a tool displays an APR or annualized cost, that figure is an estimate calculated from the repayment schedule entered, using a standard time-value-of-money methodology, and is shown only when the information entered is sufficient to support the calculation.

An estimated annualized cost is not a quoted APR, is not a disclosure by any financing provider, and may differ — potentially significantly — from any figure a provider discloses to you. Some financing products, including purchases of future receivables, are not loans and may not carry a stated APR.
